Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has won numerous awards for her works. She advocates human rights for animals. Ali MacGraw is famous for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She grew up in an artistic family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. After only three movies MacGraw was named as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different times.
