Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two shows she starred in on Roseanne. She did not consider a career in acting until she reached adulthood because her parents were worried about the detrimental consequences stress can cause. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved into New York in search of television roles. Perry was able to land small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California to find theater work. Perry's mother and I appeared on Broadway with her for the play The Other Place, in 2013. The father of her Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of The Family, an ABC thriller The Family in 2016. Perry was also featured in the role of a political thriller Scandal with her father. Also, she was cast on The CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The part was offered to her through audition, even though she was a cousin with the character.
