David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir as well as his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he serves as an anchor co-anchor. The most popular news program that airs in America is his dramatic series featuring celebrity gossips animations, animated gestures and video clips. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning program. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. Some of his primetime ABC News specials include Breaking Point the Story of Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint - Refugees from America. He's traveled the world, reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He has won numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from the Associated Press.
