Hayley orrantia is a native of the US. She is primarily an actress, but she's also a songwriter and singer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music is the first passion she claims; it's something she's dabbled at when she was 9 years old. When she reached 12 years old, the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record her first album of music covers when she was fourteen. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic origins. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic roots, although she was raised speaking English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. She tries to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish and writing songs in the language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected from YouTube videos and received the four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were put together to audition other tracks. They were eliminated at the final show.
